newbi here, How is it going guys...I recently picked up an 03 Is300( 5sp manual) with a bad motor. I
am looking to replace the GE motor with a GTE version of the 2jz; just not sure if to get an Aristo VVti 2JZ-GTE or a Non VVti GTE motor. I was told that the VVTi GTE motors have limitations when its comes to modding/tuning. My power goal is around 400-450hp; would like to keep the stock guages working.
a few questions:
What's the most HP/Boost can an Aristo VVTi, GTE Stock ECU support?
Can I run a single turbo(garrett T4, 14-18psi) with the stock Aristo ECU?

Any Info. on this would be highly appreciated.
Thank You.

Depends if you are going to be modifing the engine, Ie single turbo etc and how much money you have.

The VVTI model is going to be more expensive and the manifolds are different to the NON vvti model..

Check out MYIS for more details.
