I decided to do some dress up in my engine bay and to document all the different ideas i come up with. This is going to be an ongoing project all on it own so i figured i would put it here. Its not really a DIY but if anybody ever has any questions about how i do some of this stuff feel free to PM me.

Heres the engine cover that I did, the name of the car is Noelle so i wanted to incorporate that into the dress up and i really liked the idea of white with black accents, so this is what I came up with

If you had a white IS it wouldent be so bad. It just looks out of place. Nice try though at least you have some creative juices flowing.

well yea by itself it does look out of place but thats just the first piece and the first step on that piece, this is one of those projects that probably wont ever completely be done ya know lol

What color are your brakes? The color of your brakes or your car color are what color you should be painting your covers imo.

I think it would look more complete it you painted all of the covers. Also it would look better if the if one cover you painted was solid white. The black looks like an after thought imo. Have you looked into having it all painted professionally? It cost me just under $200 to get mine done.

Not a bad idea...I will reserve my opinion for when the project is further along. -Brandon

Very eye catching. Might have to design the rest of the car to match the color. Which from what I have read, It seems to be your intent. Good luck with it.

dont really think that the auto scene is all about flowing, people are intentionally using louder mix matched colors for POP and attention. i say if you like it go for it...
