First time to track 1/8mile

Well i took the boosted IS out to a 1/8 mile track last fri it was my first time to ever go to a track so i didnt really know what i was doing the first few runs :run:. I beat everything i raced 350z with upgrades, gto, new mustang gt (really slow), some dodge truck that was actually kinna fast and riced out honda lol. My best time was 8.5 with a 60ft time of 2.2 i cant brake boost that much now cuz my brakes need work i'll start moving forward at about 2500rpms lol i think with better brake boosting and 60ft times i can lower that 8.5 . I'm currently running at 15psi i dont know exactly how much hp though ( i was told 440 by prev owner) as i havent been able to make it to a dyno. It was alot of fun not haveing to worry about cops and speeding tickets :D ...

no 1320 by you? Checkin mine I did an 8.2 which is 12.5 1/4mile. Had a few 8.5's in there which was 12.7 and 12.9 1/4 mile range. So thats around where your at.

whats 1320? Glad its in the 12's although i was hoping it would be around 12.5. I'm gonna up the boost to 17-18 and with my brakes fixed i should be able to get a better launch...

1320 is 1/4 mile. Unfortunately for us auto guys I think the clutches in the trans start slipping around our power level. I ran at 15psi and 18psi. Same results.

I used e-shift on all my runs but the first 2. Using auto only it would redline and stay there for a sec or 2 before shifting and that was killing my times...

Yeh I never use auto. always eshift

Finally ran in the 1/4 about week ago only got 2 runs in best time was 12.8. I got vid of the run but trying to get my friend send me the vid is a different story lol..
