not sure whats wrong with my tranny... it coudl be the 3rd gear sprag, possibly a bad clutch pack or maybe just a bad valvebody...
either way, before i sell this car, i want to fix it so the new owner has no issues. after talking to Mo/SRT, i am a little hesistant picking up a used auto tranny. he warned me that a few of the used auto trannies his customers have bought weren't in the best of condition as advertised.
if anyone knows someone who has one in good condition... please let me know. appreciate it!

PM Brandon (TDLI), he might have an auto tranny for you.
i have one for sale, it came off of Ryan's car (lexus84) and i think it has around 35,xxx miles. its def. in good condition (will come with bell housing and TC), but i did try to take it apart to study inside the tranny a few years ago.
i installed everything back, however, i think it is best to have Mo make sure that i installed everything back correctly.
PM me if you have any questions. (I cannot ship the tranny so its pick up only)

^^ what area do you live in? if near nj... we could halways have mike use his shipping co. they come to atlanta all the time.
i am about 25 minutes away from mike.
i think thats a great idea though, if mike can help with the shipping then everything should be a lot easier. do you want to PM him and check with him first?
as of price, i always try to hook my LC members so PM me with an offer.

not too long ago... picked it up for a resale.. but i've done alot of maintenance to it and now the damn tranny isn't liking the 2nd to 3rd gear shift.. it still works, but i don't want my name associated with a car that has any real issues.

i dont want it damaged. he can put it ina big plastic tote from walmart or soemthign and pack it with styrofoam or wrap it in a cheap blanket. just something to somewhat help it make it.
^thats a good idea, i was thinking about a wooden crate, but i think the plastic container should work.

^^ i've done that in the past with the tranny i sold kerry (i think it was him that bought it)... it was $20 at walmart for a big plastic storage bin... just dropped the tranny in and then filled it with all kinds of shit to make it more secure...and then duck taped the hell out of it lol

one last question... when you put the tranny back together, did you tighten up all the bolts? and did you put everything together that you took apart? the reason i ask is because i talked to a friend of mine who is a lexus mechanic and he said that as long as everything is tight.. it should be fine. lmk...
