problem with flip screen..

probably your sensor to turn on and off is broken.

well, ok.. it works fine up until i start adjusting the screen to go to a more of a 90 degree angle, then it turns black, in the right angle/shade ou can still see the words and stuff on the sreen.. but none-the-less it stil doesnt do what its supposed to.. maybe a faulty wire or something ? or should i just buy a new one =/

probably not wiring. probably sensor or internal problem. if it's under warranty, do that. otherwise, check and see sometimes places like ALPINE / PANASONIC etc can fix them for much cheaper than a new one. it's worth looking into before dropping the cash on a new one.

it's most likely the ribbon cable that's messed up.

what kind of screen is it?
