you guys should really come to the Wi Dells Car Show in may... always a good time. thousands of cars cruising everywhere!!! honestly, it used to be way cooler, mega burnouts allover, races, etc... the cops calmed it down a lot, but it's still a great time hanging out with car people all weekend. and still THOUSANDS of cars cruising all weekend long!! great time for sure.

May 17-18, we usually go down friday night, the 16th. make reservations NOW if you wanna go. hotels fill up quickly. you can always cancel the week of if you decide not to go. i got 2 rooms at the Pink Flamingo.... same as always. just a thought... is there any interest in having a banner made up for the event on saturday?? like a small 2x4 banner or something with the ISf logo, and maybe a few cars in the background? i'm getting my new 54" printer this week at work, and could use it as practice or something. i'd donate it even. nothing too special, but still nice. just a thought/offer.

I'd just use a white banner, and print the outline logo just like at the top of the page (red "IS" and black "fanatics" outlines)

you could solid fonts in those colors too if the outlines don't seem to work out right.

you could try something in the background, but I think just the plain banner would look better for something like this.

well, in addition to the 2x4 banner i'm donating... i'd like to know if anyone would want any ISF MWG2G '08 decals done up?? I'd donate these as well, just need to know if theres interest, and placement on the car, so i can get the proper size.

also, is anyone going to do the Dyno?? becuase i'm having a special shirt made up for the dyno champ (highest hp). as a "prize" for the highest hp car. so please tell me someone is running on the dyno, or i'll just keep the shirt for myself!

I'd like to see what an untuned, bolt-on only (FIPK2, header, Greddy Evo2) baseline is so I can get people some good numbers once I install my cam gear and EMU and truly tune it. Nobody has, to my knowledge, published the increases seen with these two fairly common, tuneable, NA add-ons.

When I booked they said that the rooms had been released from the $94 rate (not enough had booked in time) but he still honored that rate. BTW, the "regular" rate is $99, so it's not a tremendous savings. He did say there were LOTS of rooms left for those dates.

was thinking of something like that... sized at 2' x 3' works perfect... any thoughts/opinions/etc?? nothing terribly fancy, just gonna test out my new machine and print up a full color banner for the weekend. thought it'd be nice all around. i tried the ISF logo across the top, but it kinda got buried in the tree on the right... and didn't show up too great. so i thought on the bottom it was fitting. thoughts? we'll take a picture this year at the event... and use it next year for the new banner!!

It was a blast...the dudes at the performance shop were pretty cool, too. The owner who told us about the history of that Shelby GT500 Mustang (pix below) was interesting as hell. He's a bright guy who is doing what he loves for a job! NICE. The story about his basement and home workshop got Nick to thinking, though...:lol2:

Major kudos to all who made this a great event, from planning, shooting photos, dynoing, cornerweighting, being banned and picked on with good humor, putting up with someone's insistence that we hit a tittie bar (even though it was the worst one EVER), to bringing out some way cool cars (need Jason's car to go toe to toe with Mayo's, I think) to just being a bunch of awesome peeps.
